It corrupted every save and dlc on my hardrive so i can safely say that there are things that are seriously wrong with this game, playing this game is a bit like playing russian roulette, it either works fine or something might die, either your console or your harddrive.

Nope, probably not. I warned my friends that something like this might happen to them, they sold their copy of it.

I let my roommate take my copy and play it. She beat it with no problems, so I am currently on disc 2.

Knock on wood.

Someone elsewhere pointed out that this has basically killed adventure games on the pc. What does it have left that's not been done as well or better on consoles, Civilization? Glad I jumped ships when I did.

And why the fuck can't you buy Portal 1 as a standalone on the 360? I've already got the Orange Box for PC and refuse to buy it again.

Any news in the LA Noire issue? I've a PS3 slim and I really want to play it so bad, but I'm scared that my saves will die...

NP: Dragon Age 2 in the PS3, and Oblivion with 121 mods in my Macbook, it's like a new game :D

Any strategy game and most first-person shooters. Oh, and the kind of RPGs where you have... options.

Me too. It's hard to even play it during the day with lights on and everything. It's just so goddamn scary.

Yeah I would actually say everything is better on PC except sports and fighting games. The new generation of console games are even worse than before. Nowadays there are basically no difficult games at all, basically there's Demon Souls and Ninja Gaiden. And then there's the other million games that are fairly easy even on "Brutal!" or whatever. Unfortunately this is also making things worse on the PC front because of all the half-assed ports with simple controls, for the simple gamer.

Edit: Isn't there some sort of smart-button in Brink that allows you to do anything? LOL

Recently brought Blur and Vanquish. Blur's fun in a Need For Speed meets Mariokart kind of way, but Vanquish is bonkers and brilliant.

Yeah, needs more time but already having fun. Also brought The Orange Box (for Portal, mainly, but found myself replaying HL2 already) and Red Dead Redemption as well.

This is interesting too, gaming related -

I vowed not to buy the game yet, but I've been listening to the soundtrack this week and it's making it difficult...
