The more I read about poltics, the more I realize it's all bullshit.
More or less.
Also what did you think of TheSouthernAvenger, I thought his videos were right up your alley. He writes for the American Conservative from what I recall, and while I disagree with his spin on "traditional American values" bullshit he's right on when it comes to foreign policy, civil liberties, and property.
I see it the same way...
somebody calling out the RINO's is always a good thing.
I like Mark Levin at times, though, especially when he is ripping Gloria Allred to shreds... I understand they (Hunter / Levin) have a feud going, haha.
Interesting that he's so young, though.
I found The American Conservative to be enlightening at times, though obviously I'm still trying to understand a lot of their policies from their own perspective. I never liked Mark Levin though he's too far up Hannity's ass, and his books make me feel incredibly nauseated as opposed to something by TSA. I guess it's all a matter of preference though, a lot of paleoconservative thought and libertarian philosophy is appealing to me. With the main difference being immigration, as a lot of the earlier thinkers believe it should be simply relegated to European White males. The small government philosophy I can wholly agree with, but mistrust in other cultures unless they have a hostility about them (such as cultures who have wholly embraced Radical philosophies) is something I'm not too keen on. Maybe that's just the last bit of progressive in me.
That's about where I am... paleoconservative / libertarian.
The thing about Levin is, though you are correct in stating that his company is pretty dubious (Hannity, Limbaugh), he is sometimes right on the money; not on everything (morality, "values", American and otherwise, foreign policy, etc.) but on a lot of things... especially the left-wing, (I don't even like to call them liberals, because the left-wing has very little to do with classical liberalism), Marxism and the Statist direction this country is headed.
As for immigration, there is always going to be a certain faction amongst us that just doesn't like people of different races and cultures, and that prejudice applies to all races and cultures.
It's part of human nature.
The immigration issues (as I see them, at least) are in reality far more complicated than that.
There is no difference between an illegal Russian immigrant and an illegal Mexican immigrant, in my view. In fact, I'd rather have the Mexican come in, to be honest.
