It appears witnesses say there were several shooters (unconfirmed).

Haven't heard anything about that, there's just one guy arrested at least. The numbers are apparently rising though. But the police are still searching for dead and survivors.

My heart goes out to Thomas and his countrymen, and especially the victims in this mindfuckingly appalling act. I visited his wonderful country in 2006, and it stunned me how serene and pleasant the whole place was. A country of wealth and privilege, no doubt, but a country where I witnessed such self-confidence and happiness unlike anywhere else I've traveled. My sincere desire is that Norwegians come out of this stronger and more safe, but also maintain what makes them special.

The shooter is Norwegian. Should put an temporary end to a lot of harassing of muslims over here. Though for all we know, he was hired by mulims or other radicals. You never now. The police is questioning him now.

More bombs found on the island where the shooting occured. So definitely a connection. The number of dead by gunfire is expected to rise unfortunately.

Nothing has been confirmed yet. The police said nothing of it on their last press conference an hour ago.

Been following the news all day, it's surreal. My heart goes out to our brothers in Norway.

Just got done watching the latest police briefing: 7 people confirmed dead in the bombing attack and 15 wounded and at least 80 kids brutally murdered at Utøya youth camp. I'm stunned, shocked and appalled at this heinous act of terrorism. The guy who did it is a norwegian named Anders Behring Breivik (32). This guy apperantly singlehandedly murdered 97+ people today...what a fucking worthless piece of feces. I hope they put his ass in jail and NEVER EVER let this guy out.

Edit: He killed 87 so far not 97, but i should not be surprised if the final number will be over 100.

80 kids and counting... I wanna cry.

I'm not gonna lie, it did make me cry...not only did i lose a good friend recently to cancer and now this comes along and ruins everybody's day. I am weeping now even as i type this.

Blowing up a government building is one thing, but killing a bunch of kids in summer camp is just... a whole new level of fucked up.

80 Kids. Just woke up to the news. Speechless. And sick.

Sickening. 21 years in prison doesn't cut it as a punishment. Go old school and blood eagle the guy, seriously.
