And he was the only shooter. The fact that he started killing on an island, made it much harder for police to get out there fast. They had to get there by boat.

21 years? Don't worry, after this no one in their right mind would ever let a nutjob like this out again, not after murdering 91+ people, no...not very likely. We never had to deal with a crime of this magnitude, so even if he gets life(21 years) the state can hold you locked up if you still are considered a threat against society. Trust me, this guy will never get out again.

This is probably true. I don't know much about Norway's judicial system, but in Sweden we have a guy who has been locked up since 1982, and he will most likely rot in jail. He killed two people, which is nothing compared to what this scumbag has done.

As for the act itself, I'm just speechless at this point. 84 dead kids... that's just too fucked up to even comprehend.

Is that what will happen though? In America he would be charged with 91 individual counts of 1st degree murder, possession of an illegal firearm, impersonating a policeman, and receive a sentence for each offense. Someone please tell me that's how they do it in Norway / everywhere...

I don't know how it works in Norway, but AFAIK, in most European countries sentences are not cumulative. You take the highest one. But there are exceptions, and if this guy is not one of them, who is ?
