Alice in Hell is pretty damn good, a real thrashfest, although even then you can see it was really the Jeff Waters Project. Never Neverland was a more balanced effort, but I think the shredding suffered a bit even if the vocal improvement added a new dimension.

So far, I'm liking Pestilence the best out of the lot, but I'm loving them all really. Most of the them were just me going through the MR classics section.

The last list was purchases in the past two months. This list is purchases of yesterday and today:

Omnium Gatherum - New World Shadows
And also gathering all the better Motorhead albums alongside the last purchases of Motorhead:
Motorhead - Inferno (Enhanced)
Motorhead - Hammered (With Bonus Tracks)
Motorhead - Kiss of Death (Limited Edition)
Motorhead - The World Is Yours (CD/DVD)
Accept - Balls To The Wall (Remastered)

And Opeth - Heritage (Special Edition with two bonus tracks and a 5.1 version of the album)

Yeah their older stuff minus a couple of song sucks except their first album which is listenable. Their newest is good with Saliga being one of their best songs, Entity is a good album

For some reason I was always under the impression you didn't like Graveland, Steve.

Hah, no I've heard a bit of them since I started listening to the music a while back. I saw some of their stuff cheap and bought Creed of Iron, Following the voice of blood, and thousand swords and I've owned a first pressing of Carpathian Wolves (ltd 500) for about four months now. Their material is spellbind at times, and I'd wager to say they're easily one of the best Eastern European black metal bands. Unfortunately, I have to update the list as I wasn't able to purchase Will stronger than death, which is next to Creed of Iron one of my favorite pieces from Darken.

Oh and an 80 gb used Zune that can hold in the neighborhood of 25k songs. I can easily fill it with my teeny 250 cd collection, and still add the variety of hardcore, trip hop, ambient, and maybe a spot of neofolk and Latin jazz as well. :dio:

I bought a 60 gb right now and really digging it. The touch screen has taken some getting used to due to having a non-touch screen zune for so long. I don't fill it with everything but there is very little which I ever desire to listen to that's not on it.

Of course, it's completely awesome, like a long lost sabbath album or something. I just ordered off amazon, so perhaps it's back in print.
