The Kings moved their 1st round pick for that big pile of shit Dustin Penner, so for the first time in years the draft isn't interesting me.

Sedins were extremely weak last night. So was Luongo. So was the coaching. Boston got everything right. Shut down almost every fucking attack, and Thomas took care of the rest. Deserved victory. Impressive by a team that has traded away Kessel and Thornton and plays without Horton.

You need your best players to be your best players. They weren't for Vancouver.

Boston played very hard and as a team. Shows that will and heart will beat skill.

A bunch of months before we'll see another hockey game. That sucks.

Yup. Great job @ Boston's D stopping the Sedin's from having almost any good scoring chances.

Jeff Carter traded to Columbus for Jakub Voracek, a 1st and 3rd round pick.

Mike Richards traded to Los Angeles for Brayden Schenn, Wayne Simmonds and a 2nd round pick.

Flyers sign Ilya Bryzgalov to a 9 year $51 million contract.

Montreal re-signs Andrei Markov to a 3 year contract extension.

San Jose re-signs Devin Setoguchi to a 3 year $9 million contract extension.

Mike Richards, niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

Gonna be quite the upgrade at the 2nd line center position. Loved Simmonds and Schenn looked like he could be a very good player, but this is a big addition for the Kings.

Yeah I don't get how Nashville makes that trade. I guess it had something to do with Lombardi's health and salary but the Leafs have pockets deep enough not to be concerned by any of that. Great trade for Toronto.

So I just got back from vacation and found out Wade Belak died. WTF? Is someone killing off all the enforcers in the league??

Anyway, will we be renewing the fantasy league this year?
