I just heard this is the 22nd season in a row he scores at least one goal for Man U. This man is legendary.

a lot of skill in Benfica's goal too. beautiful long pass from Gaitán, and Cardozo finishes it with his bad foot.

Superb goal indeed.

Arsenal on their way to relegation, keep up the good work gals! (Two own goals today.)

I watched the game, it could have been 11-0 (3 bars). Today there are Man U vs. Chelsea, the Real Madrid game, and on a lesser note Lyon vs Marseille (which interests me, because hopefully Lyon will win and keep Marseille down).

I predict a fantastic, breathtaking, nail-biter 0-0.

Brown will headbutt somebody and Celtic will win 5-3 with a man down.

It was still an intense and brilliant game.

No doubt, yes. I'm sure it was much better than the awful Levante - Real Madrid (1-0, boring).

some results this week!

Barcelona 8-0 Osasuna!
Real loses to Levante, 8 yellow cards to their opponents!
Milan loses 3-1 to Napoli!
Liverpool destroyed 4-0 at White Hart Lane! great goal from Modric!
Arsenal 4 points in 5 games, 2 own-goals!
Manchester dismantled Chelsea 3-1! great goal from Nani!

in the Portuguese league, Porto tied away to Feirense and one of their stars, James Rodriguez, got a red card. Benfica defeated Académica 4-1 and is now tied at the top with Porto... and we're playing them next week in their stadium!

I highly doubt Dundee City train by shoplifting in Tesco's, that Leigh lives in a teepee, or that Jocky Scott flies about shirtless on a jetpack. It's still brilliant, I can't stop laughing when I read it.

I assumed it was some random, but that's awesome if it really is Leigh.

looked to me like it's him, judging from skimming another post or two.

Porto x Benfica this friday in Oporto, and who's the referee? why, Jorge Sousa, of the Oporto Football Association (AF Porto) and known former member of the Porto supporter's club, Super Dragões ("Super Dragons"). what a coincidence!

oh goody goody the champions league is starting! we'll be treated to Barça x Milan right on day 1, and tomorrow my Benfica plays Man United in Lisbon!

http://en.uclfantasy.uefa.com make your team or http://en.uclpredictor.uefa.com/ predict results let us know if you sign up for any of them.

So, I just signed up for the fantasy Champion's League one. I missed Day One, but that's OK. My team:

GK: Neuer (Bayern)

Def: Basa (Lille), Beria (Lille), Mathieu (Valencia), Marchena (Villareal)

Mid: Song (Arsenal), Gonalons (Lyon), Souza (Porto), Fernando (Porto)

Fwd: Messi, C. Ronaldo

Subs: Lloris (GK, Lyon), Agüero (Man City), Witsel (Benfica), Rami (Valencia)

I obviously put all my money on forwards, so I had little cash left for the remaining of the team. Probably a poor choice.

I'm going for the Europa Fantasy League as well, probably with a different approach.

I'm going to watch the game tonight, and closely watch the ref :)
