Decent if uninspiring thrash from Rob Dukes and friends. Bit of everything in there, SOD, Death Angel, Slayer...

You should all know by now how awesome Slough Feg is.
Those who don't ought to check them out and though Atavism is a great starting point, Hardworlder would do too.

Kinda wacky review selection from me this week, you'll be pleased to hear. Currently working on this:

Wonderful Finnish prog/folk/jazz bunch. It's like metal as played by klezmer musicians at times.

I love Alamaailman Vasarat, so much that I can actually write the band's name without checking it elsewhere.
Looking forward to your review, Zaddy. :dio:

Haha, well done, I can't! Forgot about them for ages after discovering them a long time ago, only came back to me when I came across a live clip of theirs. Fantastic band, hope you'll like the review.

I remember my father walking by my room just when I put this on the turntable and entering at the sweet sounds of the Fight Fire With Fire intro only to be shocked by the vicious attack that immediately followed.
Funny how this music seems relatively harmless now. Still great fun, though. :dio:

I remember when Divine Intervention came out and I thought " this is borderline unlistenable." Oh and Sepultura's Arise was the ultimate in extremity back in them days.

Nowadays even DM ala Carcass circa 1989-91 or Malevolent Creation is easy listening to my ears.

LOL! shame shit happened to me! But with Battery. Also we were in the car.

Fight fire with fire is in my top 10 songs of Metallica. Why that song is not played live more often is beyond me. Bad ass riff.

The solo in this song gets me every time.
Glad you put the green version of the cover Stefan, I had no idea of the little story behind it.

Met's covers always have been shit, no matter the color. They even managed to ruin the Black Album cover with that stupid serpent or whatever.

Anyway.

I heard a song from that early this morning, it sounded kind of post metally. It was actually pretty good I think the song was Crowded road or something like that.
Album is so good.

The new Megadeth track. Eh, I think I'm going to give up on this new album.
