Both. Mostly used. I trade, too.

I'd be curious to know how many cds you own and to see how your storage looks like. :)

Currently, a basement full of blue totes.

Earlier this year I turned my music room into an office/library. It's more inspiring for the writing career. All the CDs were distracting, you know.

Hopefully, in the next few years, I buy a new house with enough room so that I can have another music room.

And last count, I had 7,958 albums. Mostly CDs. I had nearly 10,000 a few years ago but sold off a ton, mostly the rare stuff that won't be worth as much in years to come thanks to the digital age. Made quite a lot of money, too.

The first step is admitting that you have a problem :P

It's a good problem to have, though.

Today:

Amaran's Plight - Voice In The Light
Chain - Reconstruct
Enchant - Time Lost...
Factory Of Dreams - A Strange Utopia (w/Bonus Track)
Focal Point - Suffering Of The Masses
Henning Pauly - Credit Where Credit Is Due
Odin's Court - Deathanity
Thessera - Fooled Eyes
Wednesday 13 - Calling All Corpses

All but the Wednesday 13 and Focal Point discs were bought from lasercd.com, and they were all $3 and $4 each (they're having a sale now). The Wednesday 13 was $7.99 (I actually bought this when it came out and then lost it for a bit; my girlfriend found it her car this morning) and the Focal Point disc came from SwapaCD.

I paid about $40 for all of those albums. One could do far worse with his money. =)

Many books, among them some Schopenhauer, Voltaire, Wittgenstein, Bertrand Russell, Madame Blavatsky, and several more.

Out of curiosity, which are the bad ones?

(I'm betting on A7X, obviously  )

I wouldn't call them bad; just not my taste. The Avenged Sevenfold and the Lulu, so that would make them 2 and not 3 or 4. My mistake :D
