:D
I'm at my parents', no Skyrim for me till Tuesday. :(
'To do next' list:

- Finish a main story quest (one main quest every 10 hours is a good rule of thumb for me). I'm still at the very beginning.
- Own a house
- Say hi to the Dark Brotherhood ("Sup dudes? Still killin' and shit?"). I've killed an innocent woman who was trash-talking me in a tavern. It felt so wrong and yet so right...
- Start focusing a bit on alchemy. See if I can actually do that stuff for a living, like I did in Morrowind.
- Learn more destruction spells. The flame-thrower hand is fun, but I want more.
- Use a shield to try and beat two guys I can't beat without. I'm not the 'block' kind of guy, I need to add some finesse in my combat style.
- Get a better gear, somehow (by buying, or crafting).
- Do some more side quests.

That will be enough to keep me busy for another 10 hours, and to hit level 20 I think.

Finally started playing Skyrim for real. I just finished my first quest, which surprisingly was an epic and exciting dungeon crawl that even Indiana Jones would've been proud of... and I've only played for three hours!

One question though, guys: do you often meet dragons? I've played 20 hours, Level 14, and I have yet to meet one. Perhaps they're unlocked when you start progressing along the main quest...

edit: and don't play pure mages, it seems they are totally broken and unplayable. Maybe wait for a future patch, and of course mods.

I'm trying to get the MW3 single player campaign out of the way before I launch myself at Skyrim. Shouldn't take long.

Played seven hours, level 9, yet to meet a dragon apart from the introductory one near Whiterun. I've been to the Greybeards so I've done that small step in the main quest, but it doesn't seem to have triggered them yet.

Did a rather painful quickload when I decided to attack one of those giants, though :lame:

OK, because on the official forums there are people who already met dozens, so... But they must be triggered by something. Or perhaps there are several levels of appearance frequency, triggered by Noodz-knows-what.

I wanna toast one of those big boys.

Well, tackled my first generic dragon near the Honningmead brewery, south of Whiterun. There were a few guard archers to help me take it down, it's quite a disadvantage when you have no ranged weapons or magic to damage it while it's circling above you.

I found the kettle and tub headgear hilarious. There'll likely be dozens more videos of the sort.

I started Skyrim last night and must have played for maybe 5 hours straight. Loved every minute of it. Only bad thing I can say is the graphics, but that's understandable considering the state pc gaming is in.

Yeah, it's all the consoles fault, they're too old for multiplatform games. We need a new generation of consoles. For Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls 6, hopefully.

Fun Skyrim moment: I was just busy burying my blade into a female bandit's belly (a finish move), when she started to claim with much contempt: "I LOVE a good fight!". I had to pause the game for loling purposes.

Skyrim should come in the mail today, then I'll see if it's as great as you nerds make it out to be.

Pumped. :)

Also getting Assassins Creed Revelations today.

So many damn games, so little. I got that game Rage like 2 days after release and have still only played for like 15-20 minutes. Gears 3 is not even close to being beat, MW3 story is only 45 minutes into, Skyrim coming today hopefully, ACR today for sure, plus I've still got all the side missions in Batman Arkham City. Not to mention my ever ongoing NHL Be-A-GM. I'm not complaining, just overwhelmed at the amount of games that have been released the last few weeks.

Still got Saints Row The Third and Need for Speed The Run which also both look very cool.

Surprised nobody has really brought up Uncharted 3. No more ps3 fanboys on here?

Do you guys know if there's any way to increase carrying capacity in Skyrim? It's starting to get rather annoying.

EDIT:

I just killed my first random encounter dragon. I was walking between two towns and it appeared out of nowhere and started attacking everything in sight, meaning me, my companion and an unlucky saber cat. I put an end to it with my mighty warhammer and unlocked fire breath. Sweet.

Yeah what the hell? Horses can climb straight walls but can't carry a few pounds?

Yeah IIRC I read somewhere that you can't. That's one of the many things that got streamlined. I don't like it either, but you can use companions to carry things I am told, and I saw a potion that increases your strength for 300 seconds. Can't wait for mods.

@ Dev: haha, way to go :) Just remember that the main quest is like 10% of what the game has to offer. Bon voyage!
And hell yes, I agree with the games overload. They've released in a month-time enough good games to keep me entertained for 1000+ hours maybe (two years of gaming?) Not complaining either, but that's just insane. It has to be a conspiracy to make us forget about the crisis or something. And now I have to finish everything before GTA V comes. ...

Apparently leveling up gradually increases the capacity. There's also a perk in pick pocketing that increases capacity by 100... time to start robbing everyone it seems

What? I'm quite sure my carrying capacity always have been maxed at 300, and I'm level 16 right now. I may be wrong though.
