The last date, Nov 9, 2011, Paterno being fired immediately is what led to the riots. The riots obviously aren't about defending child molesters but how you can be outraged at the university for firing Paterno after what he did is fucked up. I can't grasp the mental blocking which would lead one to riot. I wouldn't touch this bullshit with a ten foot pole let alone get angry enough to riot about it.

Agreed 100%. I hope this is the first big step in the permanent decline of college football's central importance at major universities. Priorities need to change for good.

Sandusky was "retired early" back in 1999. This after the 1998 incident where the mother of an assaulted boy confronted him in police presence, but criminal proceedings were not filed, all this is the grand jury report.

Sandusky, then the heir apparent, was asked to retire, and in exchange retained an office and emeritus status...AND USE OF THE FACILITIES FOR HIS...PURPOSES. Despite the grand jury proceedings he was out on bail, and apparently seen in town this weekend.

The grand jury report is sickening, but something worth reading.

The horrifying depths of the depravity of elements of this institution must be fully uncovered. Today I feel ashamed to have received my degree from that university.

Yes. As well as the Penn State President and other higher ups. Sandusky was allowed his own office and emeritus status until last week, people saw him with children guests at PSU facilities years after he was "retired".

No college football coach willingly retires at 55, especially not one that was considered next in line for one of the biggest jobs in the country. This was swept under the rug by a number of people, for years, and it all needs to come out now.

Been reading up on the Penn State shitfest, and my god... At the very least imprisonment for life for Sandusky and Paterno and everyone else who covered up, and an eternal ban for Penn State to ever play football again.

English is symbolic of the modern world. It's an international language. Furthermore, it's the most beautiful alive language in the world and it's important to preserve linguistic cultural aspects.
