I'm genuinely worried about him.

 It's just been a really busy week. Been doing a lot of homework over thanksgiving, plus spending time with family, but put in about 13 hours on Skyrim. I'm a level 11 Dark Elf, with focuses in Destruction, Archery, Enchantment, Sneak, Lockpick, and Light Armor. I can't really say anything about it that you guys haven't, but my opinion on it is that it's another elder scrolls game, though i find this one is much more refined and engaging. I absolutely love exploring Skyrim, much more than Cyrodiil or Morrowind. Morrowind will always hold a special place in my gaming heart for being my first hardcore rpg (seriously, that game is tough as balls compared to Oblivion or Skyrim), but Skyrim is undoubtedly the best ES game Bethesda has ever made. And that engine runs beautifully on Xbox despite some bugs and two crashes I've had.

Also, took advantage of some Black Friday sales - got Rage for $30, which is really quite fun, as well as bunch of stuff on Steam - four Oddworld games, Serious Sam: The First Encounter, Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corner of the Earth and The Witcher - all for about $15. Gonna be hella busy over Christmas break :D

Ha! I think I still will be playing fucking Skyrim at Christmas. Otherwise, I agree with what you said.

101 hours, yay me. I'm only halfway through the MQ, and I haven't even finished the Thieves guild quests, or touched the Dark Brotherhood ones. Can't wait for the next 99 hours.

Bruce B., Skyrim Stakhanovite.

Busy weekend, but managed to get my count up to 38 hours, level 31. I'm power leveling Smithing to be able to craft dragon armours, currently, as my dwarven armour isn't really doing its job anymore. Got a really good shield at the end of the Companions questline and forged an ebony sword, so that's taken care of for now.

I went to the midnight launch for Skyrim. It's an incredible game. Unfortunately, I have only played about 9 hours. Does anyone know how to find the Elder Scroll after you talk to the dragon leader of the Greybeards?

I've played 105 hours, and I have no idea of what you are talking about. (I hardly touched the main quest)

It's been a while since I played Skyrim, I've had it since release and I'm only around level 12-15 or something.

I installed Dead Space 2 a few days ago and it is a fucking great game. It's like a crazy mix of Resident Evil and Metroid Prime or something. Definitely as good as the first one so far.

Smithing at 100 (I crafted about sixty iron daggers last night, laaaaaaame), just need to wait for another perk unlock to be able to craft Dragon Armour. I hope the twenty-something dragon bones and -scales I've got lying in my house in Whiterun will suffice for most or all of the armour set.

How's the achievements, guys? I'm currently at 21/50.

Yeah, totally lame, they need to fix this. I'm told Daedric > Dragon in this game, you want to try both if you want the best possible armour set. I didn't try Dragon myself, despite the 40+ useless dragon bones/scales I have.

Regarding Steam achievements, last time I checked (a while ago) I was at 27/50. I dont really care for them though, but I'll try to unlock everything before I am bored with the game.

@Dev: You like Fallout 3 yet not Skyrim? Funny, the games are much alike... Your loss :)

Daedric (and Ebony) I find very hard to collect the resources for. In the 40 hours I've played I've only found one Daedra heart and about two lumps of ebony ore (which I used to craft an ebony sword).

Whereas dragons are so bloody abundant :lame:

Die.

I had the same problem with Fallout 3 and Far Cry 2. These big open games like that give me motion sickness. Skyrim is no different.

Totally, I chose Daedric because I happen to know a good source of daedra hearts (by complete inadvertance). If your ever want to know, just ask. But dragon seems sexy as well, is there dragon weapons as well as armours?

@ Dev: oh, sorry to hear that. I had a similar problem with FPSes when I was a teen (namely Quake(s), Doom(s), Duke Nukem 3D, Turok, Goldeneye 64). They nauseated me (the first person view, motion everywhere...). Never knew why exactly, and above all why it disappeared. It should be worse now that I'm sick and have inner ear issues etc., but somehow it's better. Go figure...

It does suck. I know I'd enjoy Skyrim if I didn't have this problem. I'm not going to give up on it yet though, I will give it a few more tries but if the problem stays then I'm not going to make myself sick just because I somewhat enjoy a game.

Its alright though, still have yet to beat Gears 3, MW3, Arkham City, Rage, and AC:R. Not to mention NHL 12 is still hella fun.

You can also play the game with the third person view, it may help. Not the same for immersion (at least for me), but it may help.
You're right though, it's just a game and there are plenty of them anyway. I can't wait to finish my 7th season with the Habs, and try the be-a-pro mode.

Didn't play yesterday, and "only" played 1 hour today. I'm too damn tired, and have too many things to do. But tomorrow, I'm hitting 110h.
