Kathaarian life code is a beast of a song, its easy to see where Gorgoroth got it from.

Excellent album but I wish the production was a lot better.

Yep and he reunited the band too. Hopefully a new album will come out next year.

First time I've ever really thoroughly enjoyed this album from start to finish.

Only took 10+ years!

I love how songs like King Park, A Broken Jar, A Poem, The Most Beautiful Bitter Fruit and You and I in Unison are all crushing in very different ways. Like King Park just annihilates everything in its path with the subtlelty of a bulldozer, while A Broken Jar hits just as hard but in a quieter way.

Today np:
Orbit Service - A Calm Note from the West (calmer than Eta Carinae. not sure if want but I will give it time rather than hating it for not conforming to my expectations of how an Orbit Service album should be.)
Devin Townsend - Addicted (Guitar is so huge. Like the start of Bend it Like Bender! crunch crunch crunch.)

Haven't listened to AA for awhile so I figured I would revisit this on a long drive today... I have stated before that I never could get into this album even after numerous tries... Finally today I think it clicked for me and sounded really good....It was like I was hearing all of the songs for the first time..... Nice....

I really liked Vs. the World but after that it all started to sound the same... I enjoyed each release but there wasn't anything jumping out at me... I picked this up over the summer... listened to it maybe twice , didn't really even think about it.. So I was happy that I enjoyed listening to it today as much as I did..

AA is a band that sticks to a formula and composes music only in an specific fashion. They have always had strong melodies and great paste to their music with excellent vocals and very cool cover art. What else does one need from a pure Melodic Death Metal band?
