Talking about Skyrim mods: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/top/recent.php

It's been only two months and yet some interesting ones are out. Those that interest me the most are HD textures ones (let's not deny it, even at ultra high res some textures are ugly in vanilla), but they require a beast of a computer obviously. The interface one (SkyUI) seems great though, no wonder it's top-ranked...

1. NHL 12
2. Batman Arkham City (why im the only person to mention this is beyond me)
3. Gears of War 3 (boohoo)
4. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (go fuck yourself battlefield, and the haters)
5. Assassins Creed Revelations

Skyrim? Hated it. Homey don't play that.

These past days I bought a used (pink) PSP in order to play PSOne classics I like (FF VI to FF IX mainly), Lost Odyssey (Xbox), and today SWTOR (PC). I have no idea when I will find the time to play all this crap.

Played my first MMO game ever tonight, SW:TOR. I'm having fun so far, lots of it. I was completely lost and clueless at first, I have to admit, but I'm slowly getting better. Happy with my purchase so far.

I've delved into indie games a bit further, with Bastion. A very, very neat top-down hack&slash RPG with beautifully drawn game art.

Also, BF3 - must be the least forgiving game in the series yet.

Glad to hear Bruce .. I remember my first MMO experience, it was quite exhilarating. I was scared to group with anyone for like a week lest I look like a fool :) I would be interested to hear what you have to think after playing it for a bit.

Haha, me too. I kept asking dumb questions to the first guy I grouped with (he was kind), and I apologized to the dudes the second time for dying like a moron, I was embarrassed, but it was OK.
I'm glad to see there are a lot of grownups in the game. I'm sure there are a lot more on North American servers (I'm playing on the French ones for now), SW being an old and beloved franchise over there, but I'm happy so far with what I get.

I'll get back to you with thoughts in a week or so, I need to play this a bit more. But it already makes me want to try other MMOs in the future, starting with Guild War 2. :)

As I said I would, here are my thoughts regarding SWTOR, after 12 days:

Pros:
- It's basically KOTOR 3.
- 8 playable classes, which means 8 storylines if I am not mistaken
- Planets are big.
- Good lines, scenarios, main quests.
- Flashpoints, even if I haven't played most of them (I'm saving content on purpose, for my next character).

Cons:
- Where I live, servers are already emptying. I have trouble to find enough people for the Heroics. Maybe I should try North American servers.
- Side quests are... INSANELY generic. FeDex quests everywhere. GOD. This makes re-rolls a living hell, IMO. Go scan this, go sabotage that, go retrieve this, go steal that. Always the same crap. Kill a boatload of mobs, perform the generic task. Rinse and repeat. Aaarrrgggllll.
- PvP is a joke. For now.
- PvE content is not sufficient. Of course Bioware will offer new content on a regular basis, but in the meantime, it just not enough.
- The game is poorly optimized.
- I'm a bit fed up with female bodies coming from heaven in video games. I mean, even granmas are smoking hot in this game. This is ridiculous.

Overall : a good game to play a month with. But I certainly won't subscribe to more, there's just not enough to have fun with. At least for now...

Pokemon Pure White. A hacked version of the game for an emulator that allows you to catch all 600-something pokemon without having to trade or anything annoying like that, much harder difficulty and entertaining lines among the other trainers and NPCs.

 And it only took 12 days!

Do you still have fun with the game, a month later?

That new Deus Ex game looks decent. I have it coming in the mail with Goldeneye 007: Reloaded and Dragon Age 2. I think that as soon as Dragon Age arrives, I'll be putting it in its return envelope and sending that one back. Enough swords and dragons for me until summer 2012.
