I'm a bit late, but happy Gomez's last goal birthday everybody! So hilarious that he was credited with one today, before it was given to Pleks after review.

Man the trade deadline was boring as all hell this year. As is watching the Kings. Their scoring ineptitude has reached comical levels, they've scored ONE GOAL OR LESS 26 games this season.

Carter is a nice addition though... for now. He's huge, skates fast and has got a wicked release. This team has lacked a sniper ever since it traded Cammalleri. Still, at this point even reaching the playoffs seems unlikely.

I may sound like a bandwagoner, but, FIRE WILSON. It's time. He's lost the team, and our special teams still suck more often then not. Need to get a new face in there were some new philosophies and a new attitude. The Leafs just need somebody to give a shit. Oh well, another year and no playoffs such is the life of a Leafs fan.

Agreed, so sick of his shenanigans. He comes up with so many excuses for losses, including throwing his players under the bus, but NEVER takes accountability for himself.

Muller looks like the real deal. Gotten this team sorted out pretty good. Especially Staal who has been unbelievable lately. Compared to his poor start that is. Certain he'll at least reach 70 points this season.

Ugh, the playoff race in the Pacific Division is exhausting. 4 teams but only 3 spots. Dallas, San José, Phoenix, LA are all separated by only one point. Any one of those teams could win the division or miss the playoffs completely.

Weird what's going on with the Leafs. Aren't they usually strong finishers of the season? Whatever this is, it's the complete opposite of a strong finish, unless you mean a strong finish for a better draft position.

The Leafs reversed this year. Usually we have a terrible start, decent middle, terrible before the deadline, and unbeatable down the stretch. This year it was a good start followed up by solid play through Christmas, where we usually fall apart, but then when things started to get serious we fell apart. I like some players that Burke has brought in like Franson, Gardiner, Lupul, Brown, Kessel (even though instill don't agree with the trade, you can't complain with top 5 in scoring). But Burkey has brought in some players that need to go like Armstrong, Komisarek, Lombardi, Bozak.. It's always easy to say who we should dump, but those are who I thin should go. I'm still on the fence about Phaneuf, you got to give him credit for the numbers he's put up this year and the fact that he is constantly playing against the other teams best, but I don't think he's captain material. He deserves an A for sure, but I don't think he's the captain that will bring us to the promise land.

Oh well, bring on a lottery pick. Lose Leafs Lose!

Oh well, Here for Beer and I are in another hockey pool in which I just finished 1st and won a cold $250. Not a huge amount, but still, feels good.

Caligula was in last year, but got busy with school and other things. I'll talk to him and see if he's interested. We've got until September to figure it out.

Why? Because they are both Canadian based teams? Boston and St. Louis have more Canadian born players, as does Pittsburgh and I'm pretty sure Chicago. Fuck Vancouver and their cocky fans, and fuck Ottawa and their team of swedes and fins. I'm not cheering for anybody in particular, but I'm not doing what every other bandwagon Canadian fan is doing.
