The Elder Scrolls Online (MMORPG) due next year, lead designer being the guy who made Dark Age of Camelot.

Don't know what to think about this.

Picked up my first shut-out in online play on NHL 12 today. I was Boston, he was Vancouver, I won 3-0. It's only a big deal because usually in that game if somebody is losing they back out before the game is over so they don't get the loss on their record. Fuckers.

It's retarded that there are games where you can do that. You should get a loss if you leave.

If I had any Photoshop skills I would take a screenshot from Skyrim and add a World of Warcraft-style UI to it, because that's basically what every MMO has been like since WoW.

It appears TES Online will feature scenarios (SWTOR), public events (Warhammer Online), phasing (WoW), dynamic combat (TERA).

Still not sure about this.

I hope the screenshots aren't real because those graphics are really shitty. It looks a lot like WoW actually.

With those graphics I'm banking on it being free to play. At any rate, it's fugleeeh.

I'm finally giving Deus Ex: Human Revolution a decent chance. I had the misfortune of buying and playing it for about thirty minutes and then switching back to Skyrim which I'd bought two weeks beforehand. I played about three hours of it yesterday, and it's challenging in a way I've not experienced in games for many, many years.

Also started playing Shogun 2: Rise of the Samurai, a DLC campaign which is better than the original game for some reason.

I saw DE:HR in a shop at the weekend, should have nabbed it. Still looking forward to trying that...

It's good times. Although I'm still pretty early in the game and think I've only scratched the surface of what's to come.

Do it, or wait for the upcoming sale on Steam (if you still play on PC that is).

My motherboard died a while ago and I've shifted completely to xbox now. Things I never thought I'd say!

I play both. I'm SO above you guys.

(Although, these days I'm not playing anything. Which is a good thing because I systematically suck at what I play.)

To DevWally: I'm going to launch a Be a Pro game this week, planning on playing a LW sniper. Any tips? (I watched a couple of videos, but you never know) I think I'm going to play a season in the CHL or something, then be drafted. Not sure I'll be able to do 15-20 NHL seasons before NHL 13 comes, though.

I've only ever done Be A Pro as a defenseman. My only tip for you would be to not do what I did.

Be a Pro is tons of fun. First season (CHL, 16 years old), 36 games in, 46 goals, 44 assists, +55 of plus/minus. I need to up the difficulty level. The default view is a catastrophe though, I quickly switched back to the classic view.

On another note, added Diablo III and Max Payne 3 to my already ridiculously long "to buy/rent list".
