Even though I'll be getting my copy shortly, I probably won't get much play time in today. But as soon as I get some serious sit-down time with it, I'll post my thoughts.

It seems a lot of people can't play Diablo III because the servers are suffocating and the game needs online authentification in order to run.

Playing games on day one these days is the worst. I'm glad I'm waiting a bit.

I've played like 6 hours so far, haven't had any issues at all. Don't really understand why people are getting so fucking excited to be honest, it's just another RPG, definitely doesn't top anything that Blizzard has done in the past.

It's all because of the wait.

The ending of Mass Effect 3 in a nutshell:

THE CATALYST: What is your name?
SHEPARD: Commander Shepard.
THE CATALYST: What is your quest?
SHEPARD: I seek to destroy the Reapers.
THE CATALYST: What... IS YOUR FAVORITE COLOR?

In all seriousness, I liked the ending, but it lacked closure. You don't get to see the consequences of your choice, aside from the Reapers either flying away or blowing up. There's also a "perfect ending" where Shepard lives, but you have to choose the renegade option to get it, which did not sit well with my Paragon Shepard. Eh, oh well, they're releasing some free DLC within the coming months that will extend the game's ending, which will hopefully provide some decent closure. I want to find out what was up with the "paradise" planet that the Normandy crash landed on, and maybe see some more of the future hinted at in the post-credits scene.

Mortal Kombat 4 wasn't as bad as I remember. I'm playing the PC port and there's no working Mame version. It only has two real problems: The fighting is too fast and the damage is not enough. It takes more than 10 uppercuts before the opponent is an danger. I can't recall if the arcade version was better or not. I wanna play MK9 but I don't have a console and don't plan on getting one for one game. I might change my mind if money becomes more free flowing, but other than the last GTA, I haven't even seen anything that looks good outside of that. The tekken games would e nice too.

I got so good at Tekken 4 that at one point weird japanese writing started showing up that was trying to tell me to register some hash code because I had come close enough to the physical limit of what was possible to qualify for some type of ladder. I guess you could call that "world class" or did everyone get that stuff from time to time?

Tell me about it. When I was 7 I got so insanely good at Tetris that some German dudes asked me to tear down this Berlin wall thingy.

Took me a few hours. Cakewalk.

Ask nicely and MAYBE I'll consider splitting Belgium.
