Not enough hockey these days. I'm bored. How did you guys manage to cope with the lockout a few years ago? Glad I wasn't hockey-aware at the time.

That was my final year of high school and the one year I needed to focus on my studies more than anything, so having one less distraction was kind of a blessing in disguise. :P

I went into a severe depression that I've only just gotten out of. Now there's threats of a lockout next year.

At that point I was only really following the NHL by reading boxscores, playing EA's NHL games the season after and watching whatever occasional highlight was showing up on sport news.

It wasn't until internet video streaming became a real option that I could even watch it, which was post lockout anyway... So it didn't really affect me much, other than the Swedish leagues being flooded with NHL talent which was pretty awesome at the time.

Speaking of not watching hockey... the wait between the Conference Finals and the Stanley Cup is killing me. Just drop the puck already!

Which also means no fantasy hockey. I wasn't into it back then but now I'm obsessed....gah I might fall into depression too.

28 hours left. Too long. TOO. LONG. It's gonna be my first Cup finals. *happy*
What was your first, guys?

I just read the reasons for this possible upcoming lockout. Depressingly ridiculous. Greedy bastards, everywhere.

And I have to admit, Fantasy Hockey is wicked fun. How about a small buy-in, next time? Like a couple of dollars, nothing big.

I have no clue as far as predictions go but I'll just go with New Jersey in 6.

I suck at predicting, so I'm just gonna say Habs in 4.

A $17.99 Canadiens T-shirt that skyrockets to $69 because of shipping fees. You gotta fucking kidding me. And you can't find a single shop that sells NHL stuff here because France is to hockey what Uganda is to table tennis.

Anyhow. 53 minutes to go.

Lidstrom will be announcing his retirement on Thursday. One of my favourite players of all time....he will be missed.

Yeah, now there is only 25 D-men left better than Subban in the NHL. We're almost there.

Subban is overrated. Can't wait for him to mouth off to the wrong person at the wrong time.

Go Leafs Go!

I can't believe nobody has said anything about Marty's beautiful double pad stack save the other night. He deserves the cup just for attempting that in a cup final.
