This might sound shallow but this band is simply too weird for me xD. I want to like it but wtf at some of those choruses. They definitely know how to write some killer riffs though.

Love love love love love this album. GOD Travis Ryan is so fucking cool. So yeah the choruses are kinda weird, especially the clean vox ones but after listening to The Harvest Floor recently I could see how he started doing it earlier and how it has naturally progressed. The man makes hocking a loogie catchy. ITS SO COOL!!

But seriously the riffs!! Jesus christ they are killer in this album.

And the drumming has gotten more absurd in terms of kick pedals but they just work so damn well.

And the bass riffs!!! This album's rhythm section is outstanding.

Great musicianship, but I can't get past the clean vocals at the moment.

A Living, Breathing Piece of Defecating Meat was the easiest to swallow so I let them grow on me via that track.

It took a few tries but this is just pure awesome once you get used to its eccentricity.

I forgot how influenced by black metal they were. With Zad's comparisons in mind, though, it gave the album a new little twist on my thirtieth listen lol.

I'm a big fan of the genre (not at all actually), but FUCK this album rocks.
As extreme, disgusting and raging as metal should be. :dio:

Frankly, I think you guys are both reaching a bit on that (Your Disposal and a Drudkh influence seems possible though). Music remains excellent, but your track suggestion didn't change my opinion on the vocals.

By no means are they a black metal band, but throughout their discography, their riffs and rhythm have given off bm vibes here and there. Your Disposal is one instance and I think barring Ryan's vox on Tyrants then Zad is kinda spot on.

Fair enough. I have a feeling that one day the vocals won't matter to me and it will just 'click'. I'll keep listening.

The drumming and sheer weirdness of the vocals make this album a definite top ten of 2012. Travis really tears his voice to shreds in Lifestalker, Your Disposal, and A living piece of defecating meat. That weird almost clean singing is soothing in a freakish way, and combine that with the spastic technicality and wall of sound drummig and you have a death metal album uniquely cattle decap

I like this band, but this is just fucking ridiculous. Music video for Forced Gender Reassignment. Extremely NSFW and full of gore.

Bloody vegans.

Just the choice of song makes me fear for watching this video. I kinda like the idea of recording my initial reaction to watching it.

Edit: I made it two minutes. I used my webcam to record my reaction. Basically, I'm headbanging and imitating the growls until shit hits the fan at which point I'm grimacing, covering my mouth, gagging, shirking back in my chair, etc. And then the riff kicks back in and I feel like it's safe to enjoy again and then it comes back and my face is so awful. At that point, I had to turn it off.

Not safe for work.

I'm sure this video is "not safe for human consumption", however, and so I won't be looking at it.

Yeah, it's not... nice. Made it all the way through but wish I hadn't. Find this sort of gore for gore's sake both silly and disturbing, and glad that close family/friends don't see it and associate me with liking this sort of thing.
