I'm disappointed, I thought the man would use it to drink the blood of his enemies or something.

Belated congratulations to the Kings. Love it, if I ever were to cheer for another hockey team it would be them.

Anyway, draft is coming up. I´m hopefully going through and do a write-up of possible Hurricanes-draftees over on www.cardiaccane.com.

So many band wagon fans...

Whichever team makes it to the finals next year will become everybody else's new "second favorite" team. Oh well.

Bring on the draft and free agency and trades!

Nothing wrong with having a team in each conference ;)

Man, it seems like only yesterday when you got into hockey and now you're up to your neck in it.

I like having one in each city, just to be sure.

Maybe, but I´ve liked the Kings ever since they got Williams.

@Tompa: Yeah, it´s been a couple of years now! I´ve become pretty dedicated over the years. Love it.

You're what I'll be in a few years. Minus the muscles. And the tattoo.

Nashville trades Anders Lindback and Kyle Wilson plus a draft pick to the Tampa Bay Lightning for Sebastian Caron and a couple of picks.

And apparently the San Jose Sharks, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers, Carolina Hurricanes and the Toronto Maple Leafs have made significant offers to the Columbus Blue Jackets for Rick Nash.

Go Leafs Go! Just not Schenn!

Do you have a website where one can follow trades, free-agency, and so on during the summer?

TSN is the best. If you use twitter follow

https://twitter.com/#!/TSNBobMcKenzie
https://twitter.com/#!/DarrenDreger

and you'll be pretty much covered.

Will do, boss! :dio: I use Twatter for football and politics, time to use it for something worthwhile for a change.

not ice hockey but whatevs.

in roller hockey or rink hockey or whatever, Benfica won their first national title in 14 years, finally breaking Porto's 10-year stranglehold. it's the sport where current Porto president, Pinto da Costa, who has been indicted for corruption, started his career, and it fucking shows.

Benfica's hockey director had only this to say:
"Derrotámos tudo e todos. Ganhámos aos porcos!"
"We defeated everyone and everything. We beat the pigs!"
FUCKING LEGEND AHAHAHAHA :dio:

btw the sport is kind of a big deal in certain countries - Portugal, Spain, Argentina and i think France and Italy too.

Timothé Bozon will be the 6th French player ever to be drafted tonight (or more probably tomorrow). He is the son of Philippe Bozon, who played in St Louis (19 GP, 2 G) and who is a legend here (for the 12 people who care about hockey). Tim was born there and has dual-citizenship (French and American).
He played LW this season for the Kamloops Blazers in WHL and managed to get 71 points in 71 games (36 G, 35 A). He is expected to be picked between the 25th and the 65th position.

I'm pumped.

It was reported last night that Jordan Staal of the Pittsburg Penguins turned down a 10 year contract extension worth roughly 6 million a year. Rumor on the street is he wants to join his big brother in Carolina.

The Philadelphia Flyers have traded goalie Sergei Bobrovsky to the Columbus Blue Jackets for a 2nd round pick and two 4th round picks all from this year.
