He was a PPG player until I took him. I should pick some of your favorite players this year and give them some 'doomboy magic'.

My roommate is in, but he's going on vacation starting tonight. He should be back on Friday, but works all weekend, so the draft will start next week. He will register here this weekend and should be good to go for Monday. As for my friend Nick, I think we'll have to pass on him. I've asked twice now and he said yes both times, but whenever I bring up the fact he needs to do the draft here he chanes the subject. I'll give him a couple days, and if by this weekend he hasn't registered then we'll have to do without him. If he backs out then I'll reach out to Blake to fill his spot...

If it isn't too late I'd give this fantasy league a shot this year
just let me know when it'll take place and what the rules are.

Either Nick isn't in and you're taking his spot, and we're 10, either he is in, and we'll need someone else to be 12 (and need another draw).

Ah and is there a particular reason why you guys are doing this so early on ? Why not wait to see which players make the team and have a clearer understanding of what the top lines will look like in oct ?

Because we're doing an offline draft, here on the forum. An online draft isn't an option with all the time zones, it's simply not manageable.

We're doing the draft offline (you can take a look at last year's thread to see how we did it) and it takes quite a while because of us being in different time zones, busy with work, etc. Last year we just barely finished the draft on time before the first day of the regular season. We're just trying to get ahead as much as we can so that everyone can make adjustments to their team between the draft and start of the season.

Unless we're somehow all able to agree on a date/time for a live draft. With 10 teams it would probably take an hour and a half max.

Unmanageable. Americans, Europeans, Oceanians. We're everywhere.

Wally said on Monday because of his roommate. Now with grandbazaar joining us, we also need to know if Nick is in or not. If he isn't, we're 10 and good to go, if he is, we're 11 and need a twelfth apostle.

So, not before next Monday. You have 4 days to do research, knowing that with an offline draft you'll pick about 1 (maybe 2) players a day, so you also have time to do a bit of research between each pick.

GB can take nicks spot and the draft starts next week.
