Black Breath - Heavy Breathing
Edgar Broughton Band - The Harvest Years
John Zorn - Rimbaud

Some of which you may hear of in the near future.

Jethro Tull - Stand Up
Uriah Heep - Demons and Wizards

I should delve deeper into both those bands' discographies. I have Jethro Tull's Thick As a Brick and Uriah Heep's Salisbury and I love them both.

Picked up these three yesterday:

Evoken - Atra Mors
Falconer - Falconer
Sacramentum - Far Away from the Sun (reissue)

Good call on all three albums you've bought. Yeah, Tull's early works I love. As for Heep, it'll my first exposure to them since I've always dismissed them for their popularity. Demons and Wizards is one of their best works I believe judging from the ratings.

Actually, I only know one song from the Southern Lord sampler, Children of the Horn, most excellent! :dio:

And since it seems I cannot stop buying music, I went to the shop today and got:
Beardfish - Mammoth
Guano Padano & Mike Patton - 2
Steve Von Till & Scott Kelly - Songs of Townes Van Zandt

Today's pick ups:

The Melvins - Freak Puke
Jethro Tull - Stand Up

EDIT:

Upon hearing the aforementioned Uriah Heep (Demons and Wizards) album I came to a confident conclusion that it was very mediocre and not really what was a symbol of what the 70's was about: the peak of artistic creativity. So naturally I did not pick it up.

Possibly the most underrated album of all time. I discovered that album when I was 11 and it changed my entire view of music and what it's capable of.

It's great that people love and remember Purple's later rockier stuff, but the fact that almost nobody knows anything off this album is a damned crying shame.

It's really unfortunate, isn't it? I love Early Purple! I actually much prefer their more psychedelic records to the later "early heavy metal" label. Have you heard the Sabbath record?

Actually, I haven't heard that. I have almost completed my Sabbath studio collection (still need to get TYR, Cross Purposes and Forbidden....Tony Martin era ones are hard to find!) but haven't much looked into their live discography yet.

Finally. That ever-present reminder of that half-assed album was depressing.

And the chick on the new cover is cute, too. Here's to a new beginning !
