Nice review, Milan. I thought this was a return to their pre-Ashes form, comparatively. The same high points as Marrow and Ashes, without all the empty space and the often annoying post-rock experimentation.

I'm hopefully their next full-length continues in this vein.

Have this on autographed vinyl (saw them live, yes fanboy plug).

Great, but not as "epic" as a lot of previous works. Mix of that Marrow feel with the old demo and a hint of Pale Folklore.

This is the big factor for me. I love this EP. It lacks the complexities of stuff like Ashes, but it's decisive and kinda blunt (for Agalloch, at least) presentation makes it go a long way in my book.
