I wrote a few reviews, never participated much to the forums, didn't like it.
Now, I just go check the band's pages and never ever log in anymore.

No flattery or anything but this is the best metal community I ever come across. That's why I always come back to it and why I miss Charles and a few others.

Not sure if you'd want to out Steve over there DI, I would think any admin lurking over here would just ban him over there again.

I never made an account, just look at band pages and reviews: generally Perplexed_Sjel and Caspian are the reviewers I follow the most.

Not a member but like everyone else just to look up band info and reviews that's it.

Heard it's more rough over there than here.

There are some very interesting discussions going on there once in a while and some people can be insightful. I never visited their forums until a year ago, checking out what people were purchasing. The moderators there are vicious and strict as dead1 mentioned. It's an alright place to be if you watch what you're saying. Although this is the place to be. It's kind of unfortunate that not many more posters post here for the traffic to increase a bit. However, one can know the posters that post on regular basis here more and more with each post, as it has happened.

DI (or anyone else that frequents that forum), a question for you: how much more traffic/posts does their forums see on a daily basis than here?

@EBD: A lot more, it variates from 5 to 10 times. I lurk a bit there the metal-oriented topics, never suscribed. For some reason I like it better here.

No. This site is perfect for metal. A small close knit group that know each other, not some impersonal anonymous bullshit. I'll use RYM if I want people's opinions I don't care about.

I've got 950 posts and counting and I know for a fact Napero watches me like a hawk. I can't post my work there because either Napero or Failsafeman will delete it, even though Napero stated in a pm that I had improved a lot from my earlier days and that I could freely post if I didn't cause any issues. Fast forward three years the place is still filled with fucking morons like overglorified pseudo-intellectual pedophile douchebangs like Hells Unicorn or thieving druggies like Noktorn, the trading forum is where I pick up a lot of incredible old school power metal and rare black and death- and the noobs suck a lot of fun from the place but its far from the elitist helhole you all make it out to be.

I spent a couple months at another site before I got here. I like it here better. I like all you guys. The site I was at was filled with elitist pricks. I will not mention names. All I will say is I like it here much more than there and I haven't posted there since about a week after joining here. I'm monogamous.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for being cool to me when I got here. Youre all good dudes. Even you Tehom. there isn't another place I'd rather be than here with all you fuckers.
