Revisiting Brutal Legend. Worth it for that playlist. Fucking awesome.

Yeah, that's true, I tried it out when it came out. If I decide one day, to buy XBox or something, it will be the first thing I pop in .

Hadn't heard of it at all before you mentioned it. Just looked it up: game sounds and looks creative. I'll aim to grab it when it goes on sale.

Been following it for a year (because Bethesda is involved), and as I expected: very good, but too short. So, when it costs 9.99 and not sooner.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown, motherfuckers!

I played the original over and over as a kid, now finally there's a good remake. Love it!

Yeah, I'm gonna pick it up soon, but I'm still trawling my way through Borderlands 2. I'm about 50 hours in and nowhere near done yet. I'm very, very thorough.

I wanna get Dishonored too, it looks so much fun, but i'll get AC3 first this month. While i've been sick this week i have completed Dust: An Elysian Tail on XBLA and finished Episode 4 of The Walking Dead as well...Intense stuff. I also have like a metric crap ton of backlogged games that i need to finish, so i'll get Dishonored and X-Com later on. Also the first Borderlands 2 Expansion DLC comes out next week...WTF Gearbox, it's a little early to release the first expansion isn't it?

Been having amazing fun with Mount&Blade: Warband these last few weeks. I picked it up for 5 euro at a Steam sale and it's lasted me over 100 hours so far, an excellent deal in other words.

Got a bunch of old ass rpgs and adventure games on GOG a couple weeks ago. Cant stop playing Betrayal At Krondor.

Most of the games were only like 2.49. Got Kings Quest 1 through 8, Betrayal At Krondor and In Antara, Gabriel Knight: SotF, and Quest for Glory 1 through 5.

As a Sega Genesis kid I missed out on all of these games growing up.

Those old Sierra adventure games are so good. Not a patch on the Lucasarts adventures, but hey, nothing is.

Fuck yes. King's Quest VI is one of my favourite games of all time. Quest For Glory IV is pretty awesome too.

speaking of genisis, did you ever play a game called shadowrun for genisis? it was a rpg and probably the best one at that time.

im still playing skyrim. i think i have ocd because i refuse to let myself start the main qeust till my quest log is empty. well... its never empty. i allowed myself to start the dark brotherood stuff but wont let myself finish it. i did this with oblivian too. i played that game for years! YEARS! with all the expansions and add ons i finally finished it.

after skyrim i have witcher 2.

btw since i had to stop smoking weed video games arent as fun.

That's not OCD, that's just Bethesda games! It's what makes them so awesome. I have played Skyrim for 110 hours now, I haven't finished the main quest either. I hope you at least did the first couple of main quests to unlock dragons, coz otherwise you're missing out on good shit dude!

I actually find the opposite. When I was smoking bongs all day, every day, I played lots of games and enjoyed them a lot, but it was really annoying especially with games like Skyrim because the next day I would load up my game and have NO fucking idea what I was doing or where I was. I would have to try to piece together the previous day's play from what was written in the quest log and even then it was usually just like "ahh...fuck it, I can't remember".

These days I only smoke rarely and I enjoy my games much more. Like right now I'm about 55 hours into Borderlands 2, and I can just jump right in at any time and remember what I'm doing and why.

yup. i got the dragons. ive just been trying to do all the side quests before proceeding. ha. it will literally take forever.

weed never made me forget stuff like that. it just made me able to get into a game more or get more into tv shows. now xanax is a different story all together. haha ive got blank spots in my memory where years should be. people come to me like "carmen whats going on????" im like "uhhhhhhh who are you" they are like "dude we hung out for like a year in 2007" im like "yeah i was fucked up im sure you remember, but i dont. SEE YA!!!"

Really? Well, I've heard from overseas visitors that Melbourne hydro is insanely strong, so now I guess this proves it! The weed here blacks out my memory like alcohol.

Well, what I can tell you is this. I went to Amsterdam, and I tried all the most famous strains like AK-47, White Widow, Purple Haze etc, and none of them got me any higher than the shit here. I've heard from some people B.C. hydro is the best, but I've never been to Canada so I can't comment.

Back when I was heavily involved in the selling of drugs I used to get ak47, Hindu kush, white widow, strawberry haze, the names go on and on and on. What I came to find is this: I don't think it matters where something comes from anymore because most weed is grown indoors. The thc content depends on the grower and the seeds he used or the plants he cloned his plants from. The fertilizer the amount of time under grow lights. Everything factors in to make the strain of weed as powerful as it can be. So if 1 guy in Amsterdam grows granddaddy purple and a guy in California grows granddaddy purple whichever one is better depends on the grower. So in Melbourne whoever is growing may be very good at his craft. Most of what I was getting was medical weed from California and that shit was amazing as well. Don't ever think the growers in Cali are just selling to the dispensaries out there. That shit gets shipped everywhere and from what I've read the shit coming from the medical growers out there is just as good if not the same as what's in Amsterdam. Therefore I'm sure in Australia the same applies.
