Sorry that just confused me a little bit. How could they play only 2 songs but all the goodies of old?

sorry I was drunk and typing to fast. I meant to say they only played 2 new songs.

Last night was cool. I saw five stoner bands. Shock radar, summoner, eggnogg, valley of the sun, and baracho.

The cool part for me was the only people there were me, my friend and the five bands. The shitty part for the bands was it was only me, my friend and the other bands.

It was a heavy planet event. I bullshitted all night with the bands. It was pretty cool. The guy who set it up was this guy Toby. He works for heavy planet. Nice guy. He said he was gonna pay the bands himself. Valley of the sun came down from Cincinnati. Baracho is from DC. So I guess he was going to reimburse them for gas. The bar made nothing at the door so....

Great bands though. Great guys. Everyone was really cool.

Wow. Sounds equal parts fun and awkward.

The bands were great live but the weird part was when they would finish a song the silence was just disturbing. In between acts was the coolest part though. All the bands were so nice and kept thanking us for coming all the way from jersey. It was actually really cool and really awkward like you said.

Protest the Hero are playing here tonight. Not really feeling like loud music but I should probably go.

Apparently my buddy bought me a ticket to see Protest the Hero and Bleeding Through. The club is located underneath the seediest strip club in town. Pumped.

They're playing at a weirdly small venue that was half art gallery last time I was there.

Just got back. Opening bands really liked pompadours and breakdowns. Protest were good. Tighter than other two times I've seen them, but sound was iffy and set was short. Half dozen songs got my skin tingly in a big way (Hair Trigger, Blindfolds Aside, Sequoia Throne, Dunsel, Tongue Splitter, Bloodmeat). It was a solid night. A girl fell down the stairs and concussed herself right outside the doorway when she was leaving D:

Too loud but at least I got home before 11:30!

Probably seeing the Capital City Syncopators tomorrow after staff meeting at work. They really are the best. I'm excited.
