Injuries have hit that card, just like most other ones in 2012, but it is a solid year end card. Heavyweight title fights are always awesome.

I say JDS wins by 2nd round TKO. But I'll do my picks closer to the date.

should be good, I'd love the UFC to come back to Australia, maybe with a Jones or Silva fight as the main event, I'd go to that for sure

Two UFC events this weekend, no world beaters but should be some good fights. I hope Colin Fletcher wins for Australia, he was a riot in their version of TUF.

Excited for Palhares vs Lombard too, the battle of two square shaped men. Also looking forward to see Pat Barry and Melvin Guillard.

It'll be back.

Both times it was here they sold out the arena in two hours of ticket sales going live.

Nelson-Mittrione, Lombard-Palhares, Berry-Del Rosario, and Guillard-Varner will all be awesome fights. And they are all free!

Um....or not.

According to some MMA website i just looked up its supposed to be airing on ONE HD but I just checked and they're showing NFL. Checked the schedule for the rest of the day and it wasn't on there. So i dunno what the hell's the deal.

oh you mean that? yeah that's on Fuel later, they labelled it "The Smashes" a play on the major cricket series between Australia and England called "The Ashes"
