I bought an album!



My favorite for 2012. Why pick a 52 minute long single track from a "funeral doom" band? Well for starters has as much in common with Thy Catafalque, MDB, and Deathspell Omega as with Skepticism. Basically it has it all in terms of riffs and leads, droning and melodic, doomish and prog. It uses vocals and keyboard orchestration are just complements, never detracting from what is at heart a guitar driven wall of sound.
