Black fucking Sabbath May 7 in Adelaide, bought my tickets and I am so pumped for this one
Awww! You paid so much probably, especially given Aus prices, to see Ozzy sound awful.

Death to All in a week. Going to buy tickets for GwarBQ in August. Bought Baroness tickets for the summer.

I got my Sabbath tickets for free mafucka. General admission too. I don't give a shit how Ozzy sounds, I'm there for Mr. Iommi.

And yes, Death to All is right around the corner. That I can not wait for.

General admission at a Sabbath show means you better be ready to stand for an hour and a half without moving. I don't see a pit opening up during War Pigs. I've never heard the classic Sabbath tunes live and so that might be a draw but I don't see myself dropping $90 for it. And the way Bar talked about Aus prices, it would probably be twice that for RO.

Totally will be. Fuck the hate, even if they suck, it's a blast to be singing Master of Puppets with 40,000 other people.

Yeah, 'tallica are way better live than Ozzy mumbling and singing off-key.

I'd see Metallica over Ozzy anyday, but to support a guy for paying out his ass to see Metallica after slamming a guy for paying out his ass to see Sabbath is, IMO, stupid.

Dio would be worth that much. I saw Ozzy for free and left three quarters of the way through the set.

You don't see Sabbath for Ozzy, you go for Iommi. He is Black Sabbath.

Duh. You go to see him, but you're paying for being subjected to off-key Ozzy for two hours. I'm not judging; I'd probably snatch a ticket if they came here. I just miss Dio.

It was totally more than worth it!!! I'm actually blown away. You guys in Europe and America are so spoiled for live shows we must only be thankful for the few bands that visit our shores. And yeah, Master of Puppets was amazing, as was Leper Messiah. They didn't play one St Anger or Death Magnetic song. Only the classics.

My buddy and I are planning a trip out west next November to see Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Testament, Anthrax, Sabaton and OVERKILL. I'd do the trip just for Overkill, but the rest make it even more worth it. It's a one night only deal, so it could be fun.

Just out of curiosity, how often do you get to see shows? I can't imagine that many death metal bands, or any band that wasn't huge in the 80s could afford to stop in South Africa. But Africa has some pretty decent regional acts and so I was wondering if maybe they toured.
