Cool going to pick this up. I like how he still sounds fresh from his Savatage days and hasn't lost a step like a few singers his age.

I'm a Savatage fan boy and have followed Jon Oliva's solo stuff so I will definitely check this out. I still wish Zach Stevens would get back with Savatage. Circle II Circle is good, but more rock and not as grandiose or emotive as Savatage. Not taking anything away from Jon Oliva's voice, but I think most Savatage fans would like to see another album with Zak Stevens before it's too late.

One of my favorite vocalists EVER! But I didn't have a clue about this.

Something tells me that Jon no longer owns the name Savatage. I think Pail O'Neil does. Or he owns enough to keep Jon from performing under the name without Paul's involvement.

It just doesn't make sense that he wouldn't use it. It's the money-making name!

Then again, Jon might be quite rich now thanks to the success of Trans-Siberian Orchestra. So maybe he doesn't need the money.

It's not a money making name. He's said in interviews that the reason Savatage quit is that they never made any money. Ever.
Trans Siberian makes money, so it was an easy choice to put Savatage to sleep.

I was a very big fan of Savatage in the late 80's and have since followed Jon Oliva and Chris Caffery closely. It was a complete surprise to read about this upcoming album from Jon, I'm looking forward to hearing it.
