That Portal is quite possibly their best, and what I mean by that is sucks by a lesser margin than the other albumsand can hold my attention for about 15 minutes before becoming background music. The first song sounds like it is stolen directly from Close to a world below

I think its music that you're not supposed to get through easily. That album is definitely their most straight forward to date. They're doing a less straightforward version of tech death and that kinda bores me given how intriguing their past albums were. Whilst typing this, I remembered that I wrote a review for it. So yeah, totes agree with my review from a while back.

Like Meshuggah, their music tends to be best in doses of about a third of an album, I'd say.
