Not bad but I prefer the stuff with DC Cooper better!

Sweet! I can't believe you guys reviewed this album. This is my favorite album right now. Well, this and Primal Fear's new one. This is just as you described. It is extremely fun. The score for me would be like an 88 or something though. It's perfect for me right now is probably why. I needed something inspiring and uplifting. It's been an extremely long winter and work has been less than optimistic. Music has always been a source of emotional detachment for me. This album makes me feel good and sometimes that's all an album needs to do. It's technically sound. All the performances are stellar, but the real joy in this album is the uplifting feeling you get when you listen to it. It's no accident either. The lyrics are positive and the music has a serious yet fun aspect to it. It's not gonna blow you away with originality, but it will win your heart with uplifting melodies and harmonies. Think Hardline meets Stratovarius meets Bon Jovi meets Riot. It's great stuff and I am sincerely thankful that there is still music like this out there.

I knew there was something different! I haven't listen to Silent Force in a while and I never remembered them being this catchy and fun. I didn't think about it until you said you like the stuff with DC Cooper better. I feel the exact opposite. DC Cooper has a generic power metal voice. Michael Bormann conveys emotion through his melodies. This is much better IMO.

Great review!

I love the part where the sugary clean vocals hit a falsetto, and the Wacken power chord chugs rip my soul with their powerful v c v moments! I love this stuff I bought this album and put it right next to my favorite albums by Sabaton, Freedom Call, and Sonata Artica albums! The riffs never really hurt my brain, it just sounds so melodic and beautiful!
