Great review. I personally love the entire album, including Rock Me Amadeus, which I did find annoying the first two listen and now I find addictive. I could have lived without the pale Sabaton copy of the keyboard melody in The Eternal Wayfarer. But other than that this is the best album since Hellfire Club for me and a step in the right direction for Edguy. Album of the Year award for me.

This is a really good album. It not the best Power Metal album ever like Tobias stated, but it is very good. Rock me Amadeus is funny, but it wears off before the end of the song so I always end up skipping it about half way through. IMO they could have added another real song and instead of that joke song. My favorite songs are Space Police, Love Tyger, and Sabre and Torch. The are a few songs that don't really do it for me, but the ones that do really do. I would give it a 87. They had some fun and it comes through in the album. It's fun to listen to. I not gonna freak to much on it though because there are some other albums in this genre that have come out recently that are just as good if not better. Silent Force's new album I think is better. Iron Savior's new one is not quite as good. Timo Tolkki's Avalon is better (I know that's a little older, but I just started getting into it) Michael Kiske's voice on The Land of New Hope is one of the best vocal performances I have ever heard. Possibly the best I've ever heard. Gamma Ray's Empire of the Undead is just as good. So all I'm saying is that this album is a great album, but it is one of many great new albums out there right now. Oh Yeah, new Axel Rudi Pell is just as good too.

I haven't liked anything from Edguy since Hellfire Club but it sounds like I've got to give this album a try.

I wish it weren't so dull sounding. God damn this engineering so it sounds good going down to MP3. Fuck all that.
