Finally listening to this and it's beautiful. Some really awesome celtic folk music with a heavy dose of black metal. The moments in which the two styles are fused are really great. I'm pretty sure that is the dude from Panopticon drumming for them. After a google, he apparently also did the violin for the album. Some moments like on Awakening get a little too chant-y but otherwise spectacular album.

Beautiful album, one of those to put on when you're home and it's raining heavily outside. Easily one of this year's best albums.

The music is awesome, I am just not sure about the vocals... They didn't drive me nuts to the point of disliking the album ...I just feel like they do not match the music... It might be because they remind me of Ruins of Beverest and that music is much slower in my opinion.. I would recommend this album though and have given it multiple listens.
