Husker, a question for you. Do you find listening to your favorites completely sufficient for your musical satisfaction? You do deviate, with new releases, and some others, but you do not give a great deal of space for a variety of genres? I am right in saying that? You have about 100-120 albums which are your all-time favorites? Correct me if I'm wrong. Only essentials? Fundamentally?

I feel like I've checked out a lot of stuff and I do tend to gravitate towards listening to the classics a lot. I do check out new bands stuff sometimes but sometimes when I do that and am not enjoying it, it just seems like a waste of time to me and I'd rather listen to something I know I'll enjoy. If that makes sense.

Well of course it makes sense, Husker. I panic when I listen to my all-time favorites repeatedly. I just need to keep expanding, as much as possible, on all fronts. That way I do feel that my all time favorites are secured from over-listening. Just me. And yes, the quality of the pleasure is never the same, no.

First, that nameless, arching wind, felt in the distant horizons, second, that sharp blade, felt its even wind, alarmed the neck, of its presence, though it never cut.

The rarest, the finest of debuts in the extreme genres.

I am liking this recording a lot more than when I heard it some year and half ago. It has taken a very long time. Sigh still maintains their stature as a favorite group of musicians.

Don't like the new album as much as this, maybe it needs more time on my ears.

Just picked it up at my local music store. Shall give it my first listen, later this evening. Thanks for the news.
