It has a very long time! But it's Rush. No other commentary necessary, really.

Some of the most well-executed classic hard rock I have ever heard.

It isn't because this band is just remarkable for making music in the golden era of classical rock music, but because of their encyclopedic knowledge, which I cannot be sure they were fully cognizant about, were made so creative that categories and classifications, are a thing of the past.

Pristine and cohesive.

Gentle Giant's impressive musical acumen during 1970's decade mystified many fans, and even critics, as what the character of such a band was, when such diverse musical elements, were all at play, in one band, of such a modest number of musicians.

There is no end to the fascinating nature of this group of musicians.

A replay of the few Gentle Giants and Rushes.

The allure is irresistible.

The brilliance of this recording has been repeated, ad nauseum. And many times, art is art because it does not deal, directly, with language, and the burdensome nature for its expression. But, this album, is perhaps, a recording, with such singular rarity of atmosphere, and as such, the composers and contributors, to this recording, were all polymaths of the entire universe itself. They were, indeed, the masters of the universe. With no sense of exaggeration.

The orchestrated synthesizers, the pin-point harmonies, the ingenious lyrical-content, the captivating art work, the spirit, the men, the epoch, the music. An entirely existential band.

You could listen to it 10 times in a row and still hear new things and simply listening to the very many arrangements and the elements of which it composed in a wide variety of ways.

It appears that the way in which Rush wrote their music that is to say, at the heights of musical powers, stood out, even from their British counterparts. Rush's music is not exactly 'progressive rock' in the truest sense possible, but the playing is well executed, that even the harshest music critiques, would be hard-pressed to categorize them, otherwise.
