Mr. Burton and the magnificent Co. of this recording are all in top form (1976), but I am not sure it is anywhere near the quality of the recordings many years on when all were maturer and wiser.

Crimson's unique blend of heaviness and progressiveness never seems to be equated with any musical act.

An excellent live performance rather overshadowed by less than ideal production.

The classicism practice of the avant-garde with many influences from the Western canon and other canonical works in earlier jazz of the era, makes this recording a release that I cannot listened to, all that often, and it is because of its high eccentricity. Certainly not for regular listening.
