An essential release in avant-garde jazz. There is a reason why so much of what is essential to jazz is made by only selected a few artists, that is to say, landmark recordings, in the actual sense of the word, not in the manner of speaking, seldom emerge, and only every few decades, and most certainly with much less frequency, in contemporary times, our times. On a different note, this website does stop working altogether every few months and then starts working again.

A close listening session with this recording. Shall post more as the evening progresses.
