Effusion and luminosity.

A totalizing experience. Tornado-like.

A glance at the horizon and all was imminent.

I don't think I have heard this release more than a handful of times. But now since I am rediscovering, my affection for Priest, re-explorations have been initiated.

Mysteriously seductive.

My sole focus all day is early to mid-era Priest. I will say that scope of the greatness of early Priest and some of their mid-era material, has mythological status. It is monumental. Hope all's well with all you brothers here.

The extraordinary charm of early Priest does not only have to do with the quality of the musicianship, which is rock-solid, but the general sound produced, by the band, not only in the management of their instrumentation, but the guitar tone, the sound of the drum, and most specially, the bass guitar. Halford in his early years sounds menacing as if he is about to hunt down a tiger. The release sounds like it was made by men so much more wiser and more senior than such a moderate and low-key men of their rank, at the time.
