It seems the American (north and south) Black Metal scene has really become dominant in recent years...
Xasthur is one of the best projects around, without a doubt; I like my BM grim and depressive, so, if this is in a similar vein as Xasthur, I will definitely have to check it out.
Any South American band reviews in the future?
Thx.
V.

One of the best of 2004, no doubt about that, along with Nachtmystium's Eulogy IV MCD

It's a good album, but better than Xasthur? I don't think so.

Indeed Misha; I intend to review Massemord and lots more; I would also like to apologise to everyone for my recent decrease on weekly reviews; I've been involved in some quite fucked up personal problems and I haven't been really up to reviewing recently; as you can see I've done less reviews and the ones I do are quite short compared to previous ones; anyway, I'll work hard this up comming weeks to bring you a wider set of weekly reviews; once again I apologize to all of you.

Oh, and thanks for the feedback guys, keep it comming, weather it's good or bad I'd like to hear it.

Daniel.

zefferon, yes, far better than xathur, because xasthur is sad, while nachtmystium is beautiful and melancholic and thus sad.

daniel, you don't have to apologize, I'm already really thankful for the reviews you have done so far :D

you said noenum was great yesterday, this is like the exact same style, it's not really comparable to xasthur IMHO...

the melodism is what makes nachtmystium's demise good too, nachtmystium is mostly midpaced, like noenum, baptism's wisdom and hate, etc. i agree that noenum is better, but nachtmystium's demise deserves a killer score as well, it's one of my favorite albums! 85/100 or 90/100 and maybe even 95/100 (noenum's black esoteric evangelium is the only album that would get my 100/100)
