Any good? I cant wait to get to try this, I love games with superior firepower!

It kinda let me down. The level design sucks and so are most of the weapons. The horror atmosphere is not very good either, mostly because of the level design. Its very short (not that it's a big surprise nowadays).I completed it in less than 24 hours. It gets cool at the end and the story gets clearer and more intense. Most of the weapons have no practical use in the game.
In the end it's not such a waste of time.Oh, and they've totally riped off the little girl from The Ring.

Well... I wasnt gonna buy it, I was just gonna play it through at my friends place, I'm not that much of a PC player.

Hehe, you actually thought that i bought the game.Like i would spend money on games.Never did and never will.

even though it is indeed a ripoff from the ring, the little girl scared the living shit of me  i mean, the stares thing was just ARRRRGH

Yeah, it had it's moments, especially at the end...the very end.The horror in this game is like the japanese horrors, where throughout the movie nothing happens and at the end things get moving and all good stuff happens then.

I just bought Shadow of the Colussus for PS2 yesterday and oh shite are my balls sore! What a game! Game of the year for sure, on any system.

Yesterday while fighting my 3rd Collosi I was crawling around his body and I let go of the grip button for like 2 seconds and the beast started thrashing around and my character just got totally mangled, it was awesome. So in retaliation I climbed back up and went around to his back and started to stab him in the ass with my sword and lines of blood would shoot out.

Anyways, it needs to be played, no review or fan talking can explain the feeling of it. There is no game in existance that is like this game. The closest is ICO which was a really good game to, but not as good.

No way, nothing beats Halo, MC is the man (and I'm a friggin fanboy). But Instincts was really good too. Creating your own multiplayer maps is fun.

My advice, save your money for Elder Scrolls Oblivion. Release date within two months.

EDIT: By the way I checked around for some info on Divine Divinity after finding out it fits into my favorite genre. First article told that the main quest was to get laid with the Lord Of Chaos, after cleaning the table of coffee I re-read the first line and it made some more sense. Ahem, anyway seems interesting, maybe I'll check it out.

I went on abit of a spree yesterday (Again) and bought:

PS2: ICO, Midnight Club Street Racing (I need more 2 player games now that I have friends 8))

PC: Morrowind, which was on for $4.99 used and it came with the poster map and some construction disc, not bad for 5 bucks. I originally played this game for Xbox and thought it was boring as all hell, I didnt understand its praise, and now that I own it, I still dont, but it was worth $4.99 at least.

Morrowind is hands down, the most deep, open-ended RPG you have ever played, unless you've played its two prequels Daggerfall and Arena. I've heard several people claim they can't get into it, but never gave it the time it deserves.

Then again, most people can't allow themselves to devote 300+ hours to a game :D

As far as games being played...

1. Tetris for SNES (I can't wait until an online console version of Tetris reaches shelves, one of the greatest competitive games, despite its simplicity)
2. The Saga of Ryzom (MMO that hasn't lived up to its promises)
3. Doom III (Even though I've beaten it it's still one of the scariest games I've ever played)
4. Call of Duty (Can't beat this game when it comes to FPS online warfare)

Deep? Yes, Open-ended? Yep, Fun? Nope (or at least not yet).. Sorry, but to me it really isnt anything special and the battle system is extremely frustrating so far. I will admit, I like it now for PC more than I did when I played it for Xbox when it first came out and stealing stuff can be quite fun in the game.

I am willing to give this game the time it needs, I've played it about 7 hours or so and I know thats not to long for a game like this, but like I said, I will give it time.

Does the game even have a point? After I delivered that package to buddy guy at the start it didnt advance the story at all and Ive just been wandering around... And if you tell me that thats the point and what I have to do, then I will dislike this game quite abit.

Hmm, how should I put this... It's the adventure itself, the point is what you make of it, want to be the knight in the shining armor? Go for it. Or the badass feared throughout the continent? You've got it too. It's what you make of it which counts, imagination is a very big part of the experience and if you're taking a critical stance from the beginning you may never really get into this game. For me it is a true "Role" playing game, the way they're meant to be. Free and open ended, you never HAVE to do anything unless you want to. If they tell you to kill an evil wizard you may just go eating mushrooms instead and think "fuck them" :).
Some people like different things in a game but for me this works, if this makes you more interested then it's a good thing, if not... I can't help it.

I know, Its mostly the battle system that ticks me off, I know I just started and I need to level up more for my fighting to be more effective, but considering I can swing my sword 26 fucking times at a worm and miss EVERY single time is just ridiculous. No wonder I turned away from this game a long time ago. The other thing that bothers me is the speed, even while running Im still moving slow. And I understand I need to level everything up in order to kick some ass, its just annoying that the game makes it very hard to even want to bother (IMO).

I do enjoy this game more than I used to and my character is finally able to at least hit an enemy once every 5-16 swings, I enjoy theiving from a town and then selling it to make lots of money, and I enjoy the epic feel of the landscape and as well how I feel when I discover something new (like the wrecked ship I found with some booty in it). Its a good game, but has some serious flaws.

Also, Im a plot whore, so it will take some getting used to not having places to be.

You need patience to play Morrowind. Its an amazing game, and it gives you a sense of place. And in it you'll discover purpose.

btw KotID = Knight Of The Imperial Dragon. its cool to see all the titles and high positions you can amass while playing this game.
