Ok,now i have heard the whole album,and IMO its crap,but i agree with the score,this album sounded like all of the other tracks i have heard of BODOM,just too boring for me,but i can understand that if you are a fan of CoB,you will like this album, as some of my firends do.

Is the rating high...yes. But all of your ratings are also very low. I would say 75 out of 100. The lack of the usual Bodom aggression and the wicked melodic solos playing behind the rythem riffs is very disappointing, but it is definitely NOT as bad as In Flames' Soundtrack To Your Escape. This is, of course, just my opinion, so feel free to disagree.

You could say it's not as bad as having shit smeared in your ears. You'd be right, but it doesn't make whatever you're comparing it to good.

I was wondering who would be the first to say something like that. :?

Meh...Bodom could have done better thats for sure. This album isnt the greatest, maybe a few songs are good but they get tiering after a while. I'm a hudge fan of bodom until this feces came along, bodom lost its true sound.I'd give it a 60, no higher.

What is there "true" sound something they did on 2 albums 8 or 9 years ago, or what they have gradually been going to for the last 3 albums? I remember when Terrorizer gave Catch 22 like 8 of 10 (Hypocrisy) and all the TRVE Metal fan boys gave it like 20's and 30's so I take little stock in internet Metal guys that are 19 and long for the "old" Bodom days. I am sure I will buy this and score around 6/10 which is decent enough for todays scene.

Okay, just saw a music video for In Your Face. It wasnt as bad as I expected, but not that good either... The think that annoyed me on it was however the angsty "pissed off teenager" lyrics. Gah... I mean, not that the bands I listen have smart lyrics or anythink but... I dont know, just annoying.

Hunted it down, and had to stop watching it when the vocals came in. I can take harsh vocals, but I HATE whateverthefuckhe'scalled's voice, so annoying!

I have no problem with a band changing.. the little new ideas in this album aren't as bad or as nu as some pretend they are... the production kicks ass too and I like the artwork...

only problem is the songs are damn weak ! and, so, Bodom delivers is worst effort... :(

btw, whoever gives a perfect score to this album is either deaf or very new to metal... :roll: so what is it going to be Andy ? :wink:

I always compare. If the bands newest effort doesn't effect me like the previous ones it is imo bad. Sure it can be different but it must retain it's strenght... If the bend can't push the boundries higher then on last album they induce some other influences. But they should be carefull...

I think that the singer is the happiest... This music fits more to all his "motherfucking" yelling on concerts
