it is the utmost amazing festival montreal has on a yearly basis. There are about 150 kiosks of different companies that each have an average of 6-7 beers to try (thats like 1500 different kinds of beer). Combine that with the hunting kiosks that sell Deer, Boar and Bison meat in the form of hot-dogs, jerky, saucage...etc and i tell you my man Heaven has some pretty hefty competition. Last year cost me 60 dollars (CDN) and i feasted like a king and walked anywhere but straight by the end of the day. Whats even better is...it lasts 3 days!!

I've never had Bison Jerky, or that many different kinds of beer in front of me. When did you say this was?

I think its sometime during July. The only downside is that apparently gets super packed with people and it takes a while to get from stand to stand. But if you're an alky like me you'll go on sunday afternoon (the last day) and spend the day drinking half-pints of each beer while people are recovering from the previous day.

Wow, this is definitley not good. It tastes like a very dull Heiniken.
I like it way more than the carbonized bottles of urine that call themselves Coors Light and Budweiser. I was drinking Molson Dry until i discovered that the gorcery stores near my house started selling Carlsberg for $13.99 for a case of 12. Seeing pretty good beer at that price will make any person who likes alcohol sentimental... or an alcoholic. I'm aiming for the second one. My Beers of choice are as follows: Heineken, Hoegaarden and Stella Artoise. If you guys like beer, you should come to the Montreal Beer festival next year. not exaggerating, i think it was the most amazing day i had last summer.

Beer festival? That must be heaven.

Thanks for making my point of emphasis into a 2nd grade math problem... much appreciated. Us political science students are vehemently against math. Lets make a deal, i'll lay off the beer if you lay off the the thoughts of beastiality?

I wish I had that much beer to drink but I don't so you know, next best thing, I hump 'em squirrels. :D So I can't keep my end of the deal. But if you can get me a keg o beer than maybe I'll stop sowing the seeds of beastiality in MR forums and stop polluting the young minds.

I told my buddy about this Canadian festival and we might plan a trip up there. I've never been to Canada, so it will be an experience. I want to see what all the fuss is aboot (OMFG I am so FUNNY!!).

No but seriously I love beer, and I love a variety of beer. And jerky, I LOVE jerky.

Keep me posted if you're really interested in coming to Montreal. I was thinking of organzing some sort of weekend event wherein i'd throw my yearly crazy house party with 200 some people (broke 6 years of tradition this year though since my dad didn't go to greece like he usually does) and then the following day we be some group trip to the beerfest and rent a schoolbus or something. If you want a testimonial to having a good time in Montreal with me, ask Jay, he drove up from NY last year.
