Awesome album. Ignore him, the production fits the music excellently.

BTW, Daniel, did your booklet (if you got one) have a mistake in it, repeating a song's lyrics in place of another's?

This is a strange album, with a great loaad of strange things, but I don't think this can turn into a favorite album for me.

Jesus Christ Zad, can I have a break here? No love whatsoever for reviewing this jem and providing a fair score...

Readers are so mean nowadays

But yes, the production could have been better and you know it.

This should definitely not have a power metal label on it. I can see why people who like black metal would like this, but if you like power metal I can almost guarantee you disliking this.

This is actually pretty bad. It has some good points, the guitar work is awesome, but the vocals kill it. The riffs are catchy at times, but then just take a turn for the worse. Then there is the production. Again, I can see why black metal fans would like this, but it will not suite power metal fans.

This vocals are really not my style, but the high pitch on them was annoying sometimes. I got used to them after a while, but still...

I remember hearing Imaginary Sonicscapes (or w/e) and really disliking the vocals...

I guess I'll check this out @_@

Sorry! :) it was a good review. I'm very protective of this, it's the best thing I've heard all year. I guess the production issue is opinion, but for someone who likes BM you should be a bit more generous. It does give the album a more mysterious air.

Anyway, you know I love your reviews, do I have to say so in each one?

And did you get a health warning with it? The Terrorizer review mentioned one, but I didn't...

<Zad3

Nope, no warning either but I made a bit of research for you:

Quote:
Two large mistakes are made in the album's lyrics booklet. The biggest one is that the lyrics to "Gavotte Grim" are nowhere to be found. A repeat of the lyrics to "Confession To Be Buried" are printed in its place. Also, instead of "Pale Monument" being printed, "Pale Moment" is instead.

Also it seems Season of Mist is re-releasing remixed and thus improving the production. Looks like I'm not the only one who thinks the production is weak.

And yes, I enjoy raw and dreamy production, but this albums would sound better with a better one; but I would hate if they overpolished the album.

Didn't notice the second one. Cool.

They'll ruin it. :( Still, maybe first editions'll be worth a lot in a few years.

Maybe, but that doesn't mean it ISN'T Avantgarde Power Metal.

And us Black Metal heads are the close minded ones :P ... everyone should try this album and expand their musical horizons

That's how the name appears in cover of You'll Forget It In People. I thought it looked cool so...

Anyway... I wonder if my brain will do weird stuff because of the recording technology... I've been having a lot of spooky dreams recently and I'm not joking... :?

Weird. Nothing this end.

It might just be clever marketing by Candlelight, although if Mirai really was hospitalised....?

It would be awesome, although they would surely get sued, so I really doubt it.
