Sounds good, but it's better to start with Absolutego, yes?

Er, I can't say that it matters, they don't really have any similarities..

I'd rate Absolutego higher, maybe even in the 90s, but I haven't listened to it the two hundred times it'd require for a fair review.

Postrockish moments you say? Does Pelican sound anything like this?

Great review btw, objective and deep!

thanks. the track I compared to postrock is rather restrained compared to the Pelican, Jesu etc wall of sound.. I was alluding to bands like GY!BE and Mogwai who don't have metal in their sound. but I still think you should check it out 8)

A very good one. Great review too. Although isn't there another cover (the one you have as your avatar, Dee)?

And Misha, try Flood, it's more post-rockish than AW and like their debut it's a one-song-album. Besides it's my favourite one 8) .

I think it has about three covers.. Boris albums weren't released outside of Japan until several years later, on the southern lord label on which most drone appears to be released..

flood's a good suggestion in terms of post rock, or maybe sun baked snow cave which I almost reviewed..

either way I'm happy people noticed this review.. despite my underwhelming final score this CD is quite a gem
