Musical interests:




• Favourite genres: I’m partial to folk, symphonic, and melodic death. Though I do go pretty crazy at thrash shows and have a soft spot for industrial. Oh, and I have a long-time love for hair metal that ain’t goin’ away.


• Favourite bands: Turisas, Nightwish, Korpiklaani, Dethklok, Equilibrium, Kalmah, Deathstars, Finntroll, Psyclon Nine, Wednesday 13, Lord of the Lost, and a ton I am forgetting…


• All time favourite album: Sagas by Equilibrium. Seriously the most fully-listenable album I can think of – I can hear it over and over again and still want more. It’s just chock-full of catchy melodies, heavy vocals, tasty riffs, exotic instruments, funky beats; you name it! Brilliant album.



I'm human too:




• Cool day job: I’m actually a full-time student! But I do work as a writing tutor on campus, so I guess that’s my job.


• Hobbies: Going to concerts is probably my biggest hobby. Other things I like to do include shopping (shoes, makeup, clothes, you know – all the good stuff), keeping up with my favorite TV shows (Vikings, Game of Thrones, True Blood, Once Upon a Time, etc.), dressing up for Renaissance faires, and finding cute cat stuff on the internet. I’m also a heavy drinker. Of coffee.


• Bragging about education/college degrees: I’m working towards a degree in English with writing emphasis, and minors in German and Journalism.
