Well well well, after a nice intro and many many hours spend on that one, I can tell you it is a wonderful power metal album. I was expecting a lot from this new band. I was very disappointed on first play, but I can guarantee you that fans of Sinner, Primal Fear and DC Cooper's first album fans can jump on that one ... blindly !!!

But who are Silent Force. This is two great and talented musicians (DC Cooper - Ex Royal Hunt and Alex Beyrodt - Ex Sinner and tour support of Primal Fear). This first album (The Empire Of Future) will captivate you with ten varied tracks, full of ideas, keyboards effect, very nice and melodic guitar riffs (the one on first song is just amazing) and never repetitive. This one is much more heavy compare to first DC Cooper album (released in 1999).

This is the kind of album you must listen many times before you get the full picture of it (fictitious story on life, death and immortality dealing with the perversions in warfare and scientific research) and start to slowly head bang. I really recommend you this album. Silent Force, with the melodic voice of DC Cooper and talent of Alex Beyrodt is a new band for melodic power / heavy metal fan. Very very nice first shot.

But who could have doubt one second that this first shot will not be a very good one ?
