And here comes another heavy / thrash album, but this one has been recorded in 1998. Catch 22 is an "underground" heavy metal band and they deserve your attention if you are interested by this type of music. The singer is really good (reminding me sometimes old Judas and sometimes Vince Neil, which gives you the impression to listen to an heavy metal Motley Crüe's record). Their songs are a mixture of 80's heavy metal (Savatage) meets thrash metal (Testament, Forbidden and the all Bay Area), but I prefer to say that those guys have already their own sound (including true metal riffs, thrash riffs and progressive breaks here and there). Congratulations !

The big bad point here is their production, especially the sound of drums (voice in the back, drums in front). I cannot imagine what would have been this Time Reveals All with a much better production. I hope the next Catch 22's record will answer my question, because I am missing this type of "heavy/thrash" metal. You know what to correct guys to enter in first division. Last but not least, a BIG bravo for this excellent song called Burn : Burn this world !!!!!!

Killing Songs :
Time Reveals All, Still Small Man, Disgruntel, Burn
