Album of the month

Very few artists are capable of carrying the torch for true entertainment in Rock & Roll. Of course there are the legends, Cooper, Bowie and Kiss. Then there is the incomparable Lizzy Borden. The Los Angeles'Shock rock overlord burst onto the scene with the release of "Love You To Pieves" (their first work) at a time when rock was safe. Continuation his tradition, Lizzy's seventh release, "Deal With the Devil", is an event of epic proportions. Painting dark images of religion, sex, death and the seven deadly sins." from MetalBalde's flyer.

Well I must add a few things : 1) good band never dies, 2) their best ever album 3) the first three song are for me already classified as future mega classics (There Will Be Blood Tonight, Hell Is For Heroes & Deal With The Devil). This Lizzy's masterpiece proves again that the 80's where so good, so great and so fresh.

If I have to compare this album to another monster album of the 80's, it will have to be without any hesitation Twister Sister's Stay Hungry (1984). Hell Lizzy, you wake up my "old 80's hard rock heart" and I don't know what to do to stop it bleeding now. Times change, but nostalgia is here forever. If only Twisted Sister ...
