Runemagick are back and with some "gut-wrenching" dark death metal tunes, a kind of death-doom metal (Candlemass or old Paradise Lost). Voices are guttural, heavy (manages to raise the dead from their tombs !) ... born with a dark obsession for vintage images of raging death and a fascination with bloodshed, darkness and death. As I can't state it any better than the band themselves "we don't care about trends, fuck the world, we are the metallic messengers of death!".

For the fans of the band it's a must have package. For the rest, I can't really say, since I feel that the quality of this death metal in here is not as high as the above-mentioned bands. It's well played and it's quite well produced, but it won't blow your mind away. This third Runemagick's record is really heavy, actually too heavy for my taste. Only if you are a death/doom metal fan who wants to have everything.
